The Jake Erland-directed visual serves as the first look at Pylon, beabadoobee's newly announced fifth studio album.
beabadoobee returns with the excellent "Sun Has Set," the first single and video from her newly announced album Pylon. Directed by longtime collaborator Jake Erland, the visual captures the restless energy of the track and offers an early glimpse into the world surrounding the record.
Inspired by the towering electricity pylons Bea would pass while traveling on tour, Pylon finds the singer-songwriter embracing a louder, heavier sound shaped by grunge, Midwest emo, and '90s alternative rock. The album was created with a collaborative team of producers, including Beabadoobee herself, as well as Matty Healy and George Daniel of The 1975, Jason Vance, and Gianluca Buccellati. If "Sun Has Set" is any indication, beabadoobee's next chapter is shaping up to be her most explosive yet.
