The full-length WIRED arrives May 8 via Run For Cover.
“Broken By Design” marks the return of Basement, and the first look at their upcoming album WIRED, out May 8 via Run For Cover Records. It’s their first full-length in a few years, and also a return to the label that helped define their early run. The video, directed by Jonah Bergman, keeps things simple and performance-focused, letting the band sit front and center. The band had this to say: “This song came together so naturally for us. One of the first tracks we wrote altogether while demoing at Electrical Audio in 2024. After years of breaks, uncertainty, and near endings, writing it helped us reconnect with the pure, free spirit that defined us in our earliest days. We hope you enjoy.” A run of European dates is already on the books for June, with more around WIRED likely to follow — a steady reintroduction as the next chapter takes shape.
