Fontaines D.C. Return With the Dave Meyers-Directed “Marianne”

The Dublin band return with the first taste of their new album, accompanied by a striking visual from the legendary director.

Fontaines D.C. are back with “Marianne,” the first taste of their newly announced fifth album, Dopamine Chamber, out October 16 via XL Recordings.

Produced by James Ford, the new record follows 2024’s Romance, the album that pushed the Dublin five-piece into an entirely different level of global attention. “Marianne” opens the next chapter with a striking new video directed by Dave Meyers.

Meyers has been responsible for some of the most recognizable music videos of the past few decades, from Kendrick Lamar’s “HUMBLE.” and Harry Styles’ “Adore You” to recent work with LISA and Rosalía, Sabrina Carpenter, Little Simz, Lola Young and Victoria Monét.
