PawPaw Rod returns with “Give It To Me Straight,” a song from his debut album Picture Day: A PawPaw Rod Album, out now via Independent Co.. The record pulls from different periods of Rod’s life, including growing up as a military kid and constantly relocating, while continuing the mix of hip-hop, funk, soul, and indie sounds that has defined much of his music so far.

Executive produced by Nick Sylvester, with additional production from Billy Lemos, Two Fresh, and Jordan Feller of NEIL FRANCES, the album features appearances from Tommy Newport, Sherwyn, and NEIL FRANCES across twelve tracks.

The release follows the success of “HIT EM WHERE IT HURTS,” the breakout single that introduced PawPaw Rod to a wider audience online and across streaming platforms. Since then, he’s appeared at festivals including Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Austin City Limits Music Festival, while his music has continued to land across film, television, and brand campaigns.
