Another One!

We love Lamb! Following up “Overkill” wasn’t going to be easy, but she pulled it off — “Fort” is another banger. Paired with a beautiful video directed by Eitan Vinshtok and Lamb, it reveals another side of a future star. More than just a strong follow-up, it feels like a clear step forward, locking in both the sound and the vision.

Lamb is part of a new wave of artists building identity as much through visuals as through the music itself. Her sound sits somewhere between alt-pop and something more atmospheric — not far off from the ’90s Manchester group with the same name, ironically. There’s a focus on tone, space, and delivery over anything overly polished or obvious. Her presence on social feels playful, fun, and real, but still intentional — like there’s a plan behind it (in a good way — plans are good). What’s standing out early is her sense of authorship. Between “Overkill” and now “Fort,” she’s shaping a world around the songs. Co-directing her own visuals and leaning into a consistent aesthetic shows she knows what she’s doing. It’s a special time to catch an artist this early and watch it build in real time — Lamb’s on her way.
