A Bigger Step Forward
British singer-songwriter Claudia Valentina, originally from Guernsey and now based in Los Angeles, has been steadily building a name as both a pop artist and songwriter. She began performing at a young age, appearing in London’s Billy Elliot in the West End before relocating to LA as a teenager. Since then, she’s contributed behind the scenes to major pop records, including Tiësto and Ava Max’s “The Motto,” and has written with artists connected to BLACKPINK and Jennie.
Now signed to Electric Feel Records, Valentina returns with “Girly Things,” a confident new single that highlights her sharp pop instincts and undeniable presence. It’s another strong step forward, keeping her front and center as she continues the transition from sought-after songwriter to artist in her own lane.
The main thing I fixed was the clunky sentence starting with “A big song...” which felt a little fragmented.
