Expanding the World of TIGRAY FUNK
Rising rapper Sideshow returns with the new video for “ALOVENARCOTIC,” a standout track from his sprawling 2026 album TIGRAY FUNK, out now via 10k Global.
Born in Tigray, Ethiopia and raised in the DMV before eventually settling in Los Angeles, Sideshow has built a reputation for pushing underground rap into more experimental territory. His music blends murky, jazz-leaning production with sharp, introspective writing shaped by a transnational upbringing and a perspective that moves between cultures.
The video for “ALOVENARCOTIC,” directed by Jossh Flores, mirrors that atmosphere, pairing the track’s hypnotic energy with stark, immersive visuals. It arrives as Sideshow continues gaining momentum across the underground scene, collaborating with artists like Niontay and El Cousteau while carving out a lane that feels both deeply personal and sonically adventurous.
