How far can you stretch yourself for someone else before you lose your own shape? Swedish pop artist Yaeger explores that question on “Elastic,” her new single about love, personal limits and the relief of finding yourself again.
Released October 16, the song follows her debut album Piratebae. Yaeger describes its inspiration as the almost euphoric realization that you’ve survived a relationship that pulled you in every direction. There’s reassurance in that experience: knowing how much you’ve already endured can change the way you face whatever comes next.
