London duo Worldpeace DMT have shared the video for “Ivy,” a track from their new album Stick Around For Tea. Filmed across New York City and directed by Alesh Compton, the video arrives as Leo Fincham and Rowan Please continue their breakout year. The guitar sound on “Ivy” alone makes it worth your time.
Released October 16 via Big Girl Records, Stick Around For Tea is the duo’s second album, following last year’s The Velvet Underground & Rowan. Produced by Fincham, the record pulls back on the electronics of their earlier work, putting guitars and songwriting front and center while retaining their off-kilter take on ’60s psychedelic pop.
Worldpeace DMT have quickly become one of the UK’s most interesting new acts, and one of our favorites. They’ve also announced a 20-date North American headline tour, including stops at New York’s Bowery Ballroom and Los Angeles’ Echoplex. See you there!
