A New Wave of Venice Hardcore

Watch / listen ↗

XCOMM are the real deal. Young, fast, and running a million miles an hour out of Venice Beach, they’re building momentum off chaotic live shows and carving out a place in a new wave of hardcore. Their no-frills, authentic approach has both young fans and longtime heads paying attention — and for good reason. The songs hit. Early singles like “No Peace” and “Fake ID” helped put them on the map, introducing that raw, youthful energy that’s carried through everything since. They’re now signed to Blowed Out Records, an artist-led label co-founded by Ross Robinson—the producer behind Korn and Slipknot—alongside Bill Armstrong and Ghostemane. Robinson also produced their debut album Time To Burn, set to land in 2026, leaning into a raw, emotionally charged sound that matches the band’s intensity.

That same energy carries into “Borrowed Happiness,” with a video directed by Darren Craig that keeps things loose and unpolished. Shot on the road and in the van, it leans into a gritty, DIY feel that mirrors how the band actually operates — fast, instinctive, and a little unpredictable. With shows picking up across L.A. and early touring starting to take shape, it all feels like it’s building in real time — XCOMM coming up fast, exactly how you’d want a band like this to.
