The NYC brothers return with a new double single, a surreal video and upcoming shows at some of jazz’s most iconic venues.
We’ve been telling anyone who will listen that we’re going to see a resurgence of young artists creating entirely new styles of jazz, and Zohar & Adam are proof. Brothers Zohar and Adam Cabo combine serious musicianship with hip-hop, neo-soul and electronica, pulling from everyone from Herbie Hancock and Chick Corea to D’Angelo, MF DOOM and Hiatus Kaiyote. Their new double single pairs “REINTEGRATION SICKNESS” with “LATENCY,” featuring Amiri Moreno, and the production on both is insane — play these loud. “REINTEGRATION SICKNESS” also comes with a video directed by Lauren Shoneman that has a classic ’90s NYC cinematic feel and perfectly matches the track’s energy. The release comes ahead of shows at Ronnie Scott’s in London, Duc Des Lombards in Paris and their Blue Note Jazz Club debut in New York.
